Mick Jagger to play Josh O’Connor’s father in new film from Alice Rohrwacher | Video


Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger is playing a lighthouse keeper in a new spin-off film Blessed as Lazzaro director Alice Rohrwacherwhich is currently filming on the Italian island of Stromboli.

According to Italian media reportsJagger was photographed arriving in Stromboli by helicopter to take part in The Three Sisters, Rohrwacher took 2005 “Vision Novel” by The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.

Rohrwacher, who was critically acclaimed for Happy as Lazzaro, which won Best Actor at Cannes in 2018, and 2023 followup La Chimerawhich stars Josh O’Connor as an antique thief, is making his English debut with Three Incestuous Sisters, Niffenegger’s self-produced tale of three sisters who fall in love with a lamp boy.
