Matías Aguayo: Anenoa review – the most exciting, relaxed musician in the business hitting the dancefloor | Music

OhOver the past two decades, Chilean-German singer and producer Matías Aguayo’s flexible, organic music has become an instant icon of left-wing electronic music. On Battles’ 2011 track Ice creamscreamed and jumped in the voice against the thunder, while the Japanese band Crystal’s 2017 Kimi Wa Monster saw Ayuayo singing a childish song, very impressive. His releases featured layered music and instrumentals scattered over Afro-Latin beats. While his last record, 2019’s Support Alien Invasion, marked his first solo instrumental debut, Anenoa heralds Aguayo’s welcome on the mic for a variety of hard-hitting, dancefloor-oriented hits.

Fast Latin opening speed Feelings Meet it sets the tone, with Aguayo’s steady repetition of the title creating a low-key feel like a hum and a beat-like sound.
