Marley Packer: The England flanker will leave Saracens at the end of the season

Packer – who won 116 caps for the Red Roses and was part of World Cup triumphs in 2014 and 2025 – joined Saracens in 2017 and scored six tries on his debut.

She was also named World Rugby Women’s 15s Player of the Year in 2023.

Saracens director of rugby Alex Osterbury said Packer had been a “fantastic servant” to the club.

He added: “There have been many great players to represent Saracens and Marley will undoubtedly be remembered as one of them.

“His competitiveness, quality and ability to deliver in the biggest moments have helped shape this club into the professional era.

“For much of the past decade, Marley has been a captain, leader, trailblazer and advocate for the women’s game. Quite simply, she embodies what it means to be a Saracen.”
