Marc Marquez won the German MotoGP Grand Prix on Sunday as the Spaniard equaled Italian legend Giacomo Agostini’s 10th premier class win at one stage.
The seven-year MotoGP world champion started on pole as he raced to victory at the Sachsenring, 1.996sec ahead of Aprilia-Trackhouse’s Ai Ogura in second and fellow Spaniard Raul Fernandez completing the podium.

Marquez, on his Ducati, won the race again on Saturday to further his reputation as the ‘King of the Ring’.
“(I’m) very happy. You know, it was a special week,” the 33-year-old said.
“I was very busy because … if I want to have a chance to win the championship, I have to attack here.
“That’s what we did these last races. And yes, I’m very happy to get 10 wins in the MotoGP class here at Sachsenring.”
Marquez has resumed his hot break and is now in contention to retain his crown, having closed the gap to 18 points behind teammate Jorge Martin, who finished fifth on Sunday.
In the early exchanges, the Catalan was locked in a battle with his brother Alex Marquez, who started in second place, until the Ducati-Gresini rider got off his bike after 10 laps.
