Man sentenced to two years in prison for stealing Beyoncé’s unreleased music | Beyoncé


A man has been arrested for stealing hard drives containing unreleased hard drives Beyoncé music pleaded guilty in Atlanta court on Tuesday.

Kelvin Evans was arrested by the Atlanta Police Department in September for July 2025 car theft where two suitcases containing Beyoncé’s music and tour plans were stolen from a rental car.

The October indictment said Evans broke into a car on July 8 “with intent to steal”.

The stolen hard drives contained “watermarked songs, unreleased songs, show plans and past and future playlists”, according to a police report. Clothing, designer sunglasses, laptops and AirPods were also stolen, Grant and Blue said.

Local police investigated the location of the stolen laptop and AirPods in an attempt to find the location. A police officer wrote in the report: “I stopped suspiciously in the area, because of what I was told.” There were also several cars in the area where AirPods were ringing.

Evans was arrested a few weeks after Grant and Blue reported, and was publicly named as a suspect in September. He was released on a $20,000 bond a month later.
