England’s Tyrell Hatton carded a one-under par 70 to secure a two-shot victory at LIV Golf Andalucía.
Despite an up-and-down round featuring four birdies and three bogeys, Hatton finished at 11-under at Real Club Valderrama to claim his second win on Tour in three years.
The 34-year-old was playing his first tournament since his wife Emily gave birth to their first child last month.
“Honestly, I thought no matter what day it is, I’m going to stay home tonight, and I’m going to go to a crying newborn, and I’m going to do nappies,” she said.
“It was going to happen regardless.”
Jon Rahm carded a five-under final round 67 to finish second at nine-under, one shot clear of Mexico’s Abraham Anser and two clear of Spaniard Sergio Garcia.
Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa withdrew from the final round on Sunday with a back injury.
Hatton’s Legion XIII team won the competition at seven-under, six shots clear of 4Aces GC and Torque GC.
