The Miami Heat mistakenly posted a link to LeBron James’ ‘introductory press conference’ on YouTube even though the NBA great has yet to decide where he will play next season.
A link to the live stream — scheduled for July 27 — was uploaded to the Heat’s channel on Tuesday before it was taken down.
A Heat spokesman said. Reuters, External The video was mistakenly posted by staff preparing for James to join the sidelines.
BBC Sport has contacted the Miami Heat for comment.
He announced that he is 41-year-old James Leaving the Los Angeles Lakers Eight years later in June, he led them to the 2020 NBA title — their fourth overall.
He previously played for Miami between 2010 and 2014.
James averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds last season with the Lakers.

A return to Florida for James, along with new signee and two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and center Bam Adebayo, would set up an impressive start for the Heat.
After the Heat failed to land key members of their team from the Milwaukee Bucks, Antetokounmpo, a player of James’ caliber will need to bring more scoring power and experience with a Miami team focused on a quick push to a title.
But James’ agent, Rich Paul, said earlier this week that he was “in no rush” to make a decision.
“It’s his choice and when he makes his choice, he makes it,” Paul said on the Game Over with Max Kellerman and Rich Paul podcast.
