Fullback of “Real” We have the opportunity to write history like the generation of 2010
Spanish full-back Mark Cucuria, the new star of Real Madrid, has confirmed that his country deserved to win against France and qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals.
The Spanish team was outmatched by length and breadth and beat France (2-0)Tuesday night at the Dallas Stadium in the semifinals of the world championship.
Kokoria said in his statements after the France match. “We are proud of what we have achieved. We were waiting for the game and we knew the danger was coming from their counter-attacks, so we put pressure on them and defended hard against them, so we deserved to win.”
“We were in full control of the match, especially after we scored the first goal from the penalty spot. This goal gave us confidence, so we can control the match as we want.”
When asked about Spain’s historic generation that won the 2010 World Cup, the new Real Madrid star said:
“Getting to the final of the World Cup is never easy, but now we expect a stronger opponent in the final.”
In the final of the world championship next Sunday, the Spanish team is waiting for the winner of the England-Argentina match scheduled for Wednesday evening.
Kukurea said about his favorite competitor in the final. “It doesn’t matter which opponent is better than the two of them, they will win the match. I have a lot of English friends because I played there (with Chelsea) for many years, so it will be a special match, and in Argentina there are also friends like Messi.”
