Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed new developments regarding the future of former Saudi Arabia Al-Ahly player Frank Kessier in the current summer transfer window, stressing that the player is putting a return to the Italian league at the top of his priorities.
According to Romano, Kessier is very keen on a move to Juventus and hopes to complete a deal in the next few days, despite interest from several Saudi clubs seeking his services.
Romano explained that the player’s management had received reports from clubs in Saudi Arabia expressing an interest in signing him, but Kessier made it clear that his current priority was to return to Italy and wear the Juventus shirt.
The post comes after Kessier’s successful spell in the Italian league, previously at Milan, where he made a name for himself before moving to Barcelona and then Al-Ahly in Saudi Arabia.

Romano noted that the footballer will give Juventus a deadline in the next few days, in anticipation of positive developments in the negotiations, be it to reach an agreement level with “Al-Ahly” or to reach an appropriate resolution of the contract.
He added that Kessier will not permanently close the door to other offers as he will assess all the options available to him if the Juventus deal does not go as requested.
Between the player’s desire to return to Serie A, the continued presence of Juventus and strong offers from Saudi Arabia, the coming days look crucial in determining the Ivorian star’s next destination.
