Jose Mourinho: The Portuguese signed a three-year contract to become the coach of Real Madrid.

Los Blancos’ journey to the Champions League ended with a 6-4 defeat by German champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.

After leaving Real Madrid in 2013, Mourinho returned to England in the 2014-15 season and won a second spell at Chelsea, winning three Premier League titles and a third of the EFL Cup.

Following his departure from the Blues by mutual consent in 2015, Mourinho joined Manchester United in 2016 on a three-year deal.

He won the Europa League, EFL Cup and Community Shield in his first season at Old Trafford, but was sacked in December 2018 after a poor run of results.

Mourinho has had spells at Tottenham, where he won the Europa League in 2022, Serie A side Roma and Turkish club Fenerbahce before taking up the Benefica job.
