Jack Massey beat Chris Billam-Smith once, and he’s confident he can do it again.
Returned in 2013 to win the ABA National Amateur Championship at Houghton-le-Spring, defeating Massey Billam-Smith. But Billam-Smith portrays him as a professional.
Whereas Massey has won European titles and challenged for world honours, Billam-Smith is a former British, European and world champion.
Cheshire’s Massey still wants to continue his rivalry with Billam-Smith.
“Absolutely. You know he’s fought very hard himself (against Ryan Rosicky). He’s got to pull that off as well. But absolutely. It’s good that we’re all under this Zuffa umbrella now and we can have these 50-50 fights, these big fights can happen,” Massey said. Sky Sports.

Massey is boxing on the Billam-Smith undercard this Saturday, live on Sky SportsIn a hotly contested fight against Tokyo Olympian Chevron Clarke.
“We want tough fights my whole career,” Massey said. “We don’t back down from fights. That’s what sells in boxing. You don’t want to go out there with someone you’re going to ball on. He’s an exciting fighter, a tasty fight for fight fans. I’m number 2 in Britain, he’s number 3, it’s also a domestic clash. It’s going to be good.
“We’re big guys at this weight, everybody can punch. He’s an explosive fighter. We have to be careful. But he’s nothing we haven’t seen before.”

Jack Massey blasted through Steve Eloundou Ntere, rocking him with a two-punch combination before taking him down with an overarm.
Clark was never stopped as a professional. But Massey warned: “We’ll see how he takes my punches.
“We saw a few openings there and can work on some weaknesses. I’m very, very confident going into this fight.
“I’m not looking for a knockout. But that’s when it comes. When I’m nice and comfortable and loose. Not looking for it, not loading, it comes with timing and speed.”

He added: “It’s an action packed card, two big cruiserweight fights, it’s exciting and it’s good to see some limelight in the cruiserweight division as well.
“I think a lot of guys are avoiding each other so people haven’t seen the explosiveness of the cruiserweight division. We’re basically fast heavyweights. It’s a very exciting weight class and I think people are going to be really, really excited about the cruiserweight division after this show.”
