I’ve Seen All I Need To See Again – murky indie thriller follows a mother at home after her sister is murdered | Video

Peel behind the scenes and sadly there is not much going on inside the American indie drama from director Zeshaan Younus; it’s a movie that aspires to noir, but manages to have a shade of gray. It’s creative and annoying, with a pathetically arrogant voice and its director Parker (Renee Gagner). He is an actor in Los Angeles who returns home after his sister Indiana (Rosie McDonald) is murdered. “Sister, you were fine.” remembers Parker. “I am neither anything nor anyone. Rather, I am everyone and everything.”

It’s a film where the actors are shot in close-up delivering vivid lines, with meaning and depth, but without saying anything that makes sense. Before he dies, we watch Indiana sell some kind of merchandise to a biker. He leaves a message for Parker: “I’m in deep… If anything happens to me don’t come look.” That’s advice she quickly ignored after her sister Indiana was killed. Instead, Parker searches for answers, although this is a film with higher goals than solving murders.

Instead it feels like a film school project, self-indulgent without much consideration for the audience. There are references to David Lynch, although this is not dangerous or unusual, even with some beautiful atmospheric scenes by cinematographer Justin Moore.
