It’s official… Al Hilal Saudi Arabia announces its deal with Summerville

Saudi club Al Hilal have announced the signing of Dutch winger Crescencio Summerville from English club West Ham United in what will be their sixth signing of the current summer transfer window.

“Al Hilal” club released a statement on its official websiteIt has been announced that Summerville will join the team on a four-year contract extension that ends in 2030.

Al-Zaem explained that the Dutch winger signed the transfer contracts yesterday, Friday, at the team’s camp, which is currently being held in Austria, where he joined to prepare for the new season.

Al-Hilal noted that Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, the owner of the Saudi club, was the one who sponsored the entire cost of the deal, thanking him for this.

Al Hilal did not disclose the value of the deal, but previous media reports confirmed it could reach €80m, making the Dutch winger the second most expensive player in the Saudi Arabian league’s history.

Summerville’s name has appeared in the 2026 World CupAlthough he did not start in all matches of the Dutch national team, he scored two goals and two assists.

Away from the “Windmills”, Summerville performed at an exceptional level for West Ham last season, where he participated in 34 matches, during which he managed to score 7 goals and make 5 assists.

The 24-year-old is mostly good on the left wing, but he can also play on the right front, apart from the forward and playmaker positions, but less so.
