“It won’t last a minute.” A Saudi journalist reveals the date of Jesus’ departure

The Portuguese coach is close to leaving Al-Alam

Journalist Saud Al-Sarami, the former official representative of the Saudi club “Al-Nasr”, revealed the date of the departure of Portuguese Jorge Jesus from the training of “Al-Alami”.

Press reports have confirmed that Jesus will not continue with Al-Nasr after the end of the current season due to his desire to coach the Portuguese national team.

Al-Sarami said on Al Arabiya FM radio. “Jesus will not last a minute after the end of the Damac match with Al-Nasr, which is scheduled to be held next Thursday evening as part of the 34th round of the Roshen Professional League.

He added: “The strict Financial Control Committee has its sights set on victory, and there is great difficulty in renewing Jesus’ contract, and therefore he will leave shortly after facing Damak.”

He concluded his speech. “The club will face the next phase of a major crisis as the management will not be able to renew the contracts of some players such as the Croatian Marcelo Brozovic and Abdul Rahman Al Gharib.”

Jesus took over at Al-Nasr earlier this season, succeeding Italian Stefano Pioli, and came close to winning the Roshen League title when they beat Damascus.
