Eight people have been killed and 20 injured in a funeral ceremony for Palestinians killed by Israel in the past.
A series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 14 Palestinians, more than half of them in a drone attack on a funeral.
Nine months into the so-called “ceasefire” with Hamas, Israel continues crush it almost every day.

Eight people were killed when Israel carried out an attack on a crowd of civilians in the Al-Balata market in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Friday, the Gaza Civil Defense Agency and a hospital said.
At least 20 others were injured, Al-Awda Hospital added.
Witnesses said a drone was watching Palestinian mourners gathered outside the Ahmad Yassin mosque as they waited to begin the funeral for a Palestinian killed in a separate attack earlier in the same area.
“There is no involvement in the ceasefire,” Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud said from Gaza City.
“The people who were attending the (funeral) ceremony were coming out of the mosque (when) the airstrikes targeted the crowd.”
The Israeli army has confirmed that it will carry out the strike, an AFP report said.
The army said it had struck a group of “terrorists” in central Gaza, but added that it was “aware that several civilians were injured as a result of the strike. The results of the strike are being assessed.”
In a statement, the Palestinian group Hamas condemned the strike.
“This heinous crime is taking place while the criminal regime, through continuous and persistent violations of the cease-fire agreement in Gaza, continues to kill and terrorize innocent civilians in front of the international community,” it said.
Earlier on Friday, a 52-year-old woman was killed in the northern city of Beit Lahia when an Israeli plane dropped a bomb near the Abu Tammam School, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.
An Israeli attack on a Palestinian community in the city of Az-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip killed one person and injured several others.
In al-Sawarha, west of Nuseirat refugee camp, one person was killed when a house occupied by refugees was hit by Israeli fire.
Elsewhere, an Israeli jet hit a building in Gaza City, killing a Palestinian and injuring several others, including children, while a woman died of wounds in an Israeli attack in the southwestern town of Khan Younis.

Despite a “ceasefire” last October, Israel continues to attack Gaza regularly.
The research group, Armed Conflict Location & Event Data (ACLED), reported on Wednesday that Israeli attacks on the enclave have increased since May.
ACLED reported that there were more than 40 protests last month – the highest number in a month since the “cease fire” began. The increase has raised questions about whether Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza will ever end, allowing the devastated areas to be rebuilt and Palestinians to return to their own culture.
“The skies above the Gaza Strip are full of drones,” Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud said.
“You can hear the hum of these drones everywhere… In addition to the constant destruction (of Israel) of the remaining weapons,” he added.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Friday that Israel has been killing children as a “routine” – 274 since the “ceasefire” began.
It said that since then, at least one child has been killed every day.
