Israeli attack kills four men and a boy in Gaza and a teenager in the West Bank | Israel-Palestine War News

The Israeli rights group B’Tselem has condemned the ‘unspeakable killing of Palestinian children and youth in the West Bank’.

Israeli terrorists have killed four Palestinian men and an eight-year-old boy in Gaza, and a 15-year-old boy in the West Bank.

An Israeli plane attacked the Wadi al-Salqa bridge on the al-Baraka road in central Gaza on Monday morning, killing eight-year-old Malik Wael Abu Shaweesh, as well as Ali Fayez Isbaitan and Hassan Salman al-Hanajra, Wafa news agency reported.

In another incident later on Monday, two people were killed by an Israeli airstrike on the beach in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The attack injured 27 people, according to the Gaza Civil Protection Agency.

In the West Bank, 15-year-old Ahmad Jawad Jaber died on the way to the hospital after being shot in the chest and head during an Israeli attack on Umm al-Sharayit in the neighborhood of El-Bireh, near Ramallah, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.

Laila Ghannam, the governor of Ramallah and el-Bireh, was among the mourners at the Palestine Medical Complex where the body of the teenager was taken.

“Today, we saw people being killed during the day,” Ghannam told AFP. He added that his killing is “a shame for all organizations that claim to support democracy and human rights”.

The Israeli freedom group B’Tselem has released a report On Monday it was reported that the Israeli army has killed 241 Palestinian children and teenagers in the West Bank since October 7, 2023.

“The unprecedented killing of Palestinian children and youth in the West Bank is the result of Israeli policies that support the killing of Palestinians without any reason,” said B’Tselem Executive Director Yuli Novak.

The report added that Israeli authorities refused to return some of the children’s bodies to their families.

In total, at least 1,085 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank by Israeli forces or residents since October 7, 2023.

In Gaza, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed in the same period, according to figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
