Israeli gunmen killed at least three Palestinians and wounded several others in the Gaza Strip, as Israel continues to attack the city and escalate attacks across the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported on Sunday that an Israeli warplane struck the al-Salatin area, west of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, killing at least two people and injuring another.

In southern Gaza, Israeli forces bombed the tents of Palestinian refugees in Khan Younis.
Israeli warplanes fired a missile at the tent, injuring several people who were taken to hospital.
Medical staff at the Nasser Medical Complex said they received the body of one unidentified person after the attack.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said it helped transfer 14 Palestinians held captive by Israel from Kerem Abu Salem through the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in central Gaza. It also helped them reunite with their families.
The ICRC said it had helped transfer more than 2,500 detainees released since 2023 through the same process.
But the organization said that Israel has not allowed it to receive Palestinian prisoners who have been held in Israeli prisons since October 2023.
It also said that the authorities should disclose the fate and whereabouts of all detainees, allow visits, and ensure that they can contact their families.
Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum, who is from Gaza City, said: “Israel increased its airstrikes on Saturday, mainly targeting temporary tents, especially in Gaza City and al-Mawasi area, which has been designated as a safe zone in the negotiations and map of the ceasefire agreement reached last year.”
“These threats have been accompanied by the expansion of Israeli operations in the eastern areas of Gaza City, where the Israeli army is expanding the area of the yellow line.”
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has said that Israel’s genocide there has killed at least 73,054 Palestinians and injured 173,480 since October 7, 2023.
Hospitals received three bodies and treated 43 injured people in the last 24 hours, the ministry added.
The attack on the West Bank and the banning of mosques
In East Jerusalem, 110 Israelis entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli police, according to the Islamic Waqf Department.
The Waqf said the settlers entered the Mughrabi Gate, visited the courtyards and performed wake rituals in the eastern area of the courtyard.
Israeli police have imposed strict restrictions on Palestinian worshipers, harassing them, preventing others from entering and confiscating identity cards at the outer gates.
In Hebron, the Israeli army canceled the call to prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque for the eighth day in a row.
Munjid al-Ja’bari, the head of the mosque, said the Israeli army had canceled the call to prayer regularly for the past eight days, Wafa said. He said the restrictions were intended to strengthen Israel’s control over the mosque and displace worshippers.
Israeli forces also shot a Palestinian youth in the leg with live ammunition during an attack on the Qalandiya camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, and arrested two others.
In the Bethlehem district, Israeli forces arrested two young men after raiding the town of Beit Sahour and searching a family home.
In Nablus, Israeli forces arrested 11 Palestinians after shooting and searching houses in several areas. They also attacked Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, arrested two Palestinians, including journalist Anas al-Hawari, and destroyed a car.
Palestinian groups have warned that Israel is increasing its threats to health workers and government agencies.
The Palestinian NGO Network called for international pressure to release the arrested doctors, including Mazen al-Rantisi, Khaled Ayash and Hussam Abu Safia.
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said Palestinian women in Damon Prison are facing hardships and deprivation of rights.
It said that inmate Lina Muhammad Wazwaz, a teacher and mother of four, suffered severe pain from the shackles after being arrested and later suffered facial injuries while working in the prison.
