Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal have stepped up their moves in recent hours to land one of the biggest deals of the summer transfer window after continuing to pressure Bayern Munich to sign Colombian Luis Diaz as part of a plan to strengthen the squad ahead of the start of the new season.
Previous reports indicated that Al Hilal would not mind paying around $120 million to buy out the Colombian winger’s contract, a deal that would be the most expensive in Saudi Roshan’s league history.

According to reliable journalist Abdulaziz Al-Muraisal, Al-Hilal’s negotiator continues to put strong pressure on the management of Bayern Munich to convince him to agree to sell the player, but the German club is still clinging to Diaz’s continuity, especially after he also rejected the idea of leaving Frenchman Michael Olisse.
He added that Al-Hilal had given Bayern Munich management a deadline to think about it, asking for a final answer within the current week, given Al-Zaim’s desire to end the foreign wing business before finalizing the remaining Mercato deals.
Al Hilal were not content with the financial enticements of the deal’s value, but also lined up a huge offer for the player, with Luis Diaz expected to earn more than €37 million a year, which could make it difficult to resist the Saudi offer if Bayern agree to open the door to negotiations.
