Iran has warned that an Israeli attack on Lebanon could threaten a ceasefire with the US.

Israel’s military has struck Beirut twice since a cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon took effect on April 16. But this is an earlier reduction, with the White House reportedly pushing for Israel to limit military action in Beirut to avoid derailing efforts to reach a broader agreement to end the war between the United States, Israel and Iran.
