Iran’s response to the US ceasefire proposal has been sent through Pakistan’s mediator, Iran’s IRNA news agency said.
IRNA reported on Sunday that according to the proposed plan, the first phase of the talks will focus on resolving the conflict.
Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder in Islamabad said Pakistan has confirmed that it has received Iran’s response.
“Pakistan confirms that it will accept Iran’s response to the US proposal,” he said. “Now that Pakistan has received it, it will be important to see if it is sent to the United States, and see what Washington does.”
