Inzaghi’s new decision shapes Al Hilal’s season

The Italian coach confirms his continuation with Al-Zaim

Simone Inzaghi began his first preparations with Al Hilal after finalizing the details of the most important phase before the start of the new season, a move that reflects the Italian coach’s desire to make his early mark on the team.

Saudi Arabian journalist Abdulaziz Al-Muraisal categorically denied the news of Inzaghi’s dismissal on his personal account on the “X” website after the deterioration of last season’s results.

Al-Mursal wrote: “Inzaghi continues with Al-Hilal and he is the main pillar of the Al-Hilal project, which aims to fight for the World Cup.”

As per the club’s management arrangements, Al Hilal will hold their next summer camp in Austria and Inzaghi will personally lead the training sessions to prepare the players physically and technically in preparation for regaining the Roshen League title.

The Italian coach decided to give his players a 40-day passive rest with group training before regrouping and heading to the European camp as part of a plan to increase fitness and avoid fatigue after a long season.

The early appointment comes after a mixed season for Al Hilal, which saw them win the Copa del Rey, lose the league race and miss out on the Super Cup, leaving Inzaghi with a clear task of getting the team back on the domestic podium and competing strongly on the continent.
