“Inter Milan” rejected the free deal of “Real”.

Inter Milan are aiming to rebuild their defense with special deals in the summer transfer market after winning the Italian league title and securing their place in the Champions League.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Austrian defender David Alaba has been linked with a move to Inter Milan following the expiry of his contract with Real Madrid.

Alaba is 33 years old and has become a free agent to sign for any club after leaving Real Madrid on a free transfer. He will also participate in the World Championship with Austria.

The Italian newspaper added that Inter Milan are not enthusiastic about signing Alaba due to his high financial demands as well as his advanced age.

Inter Milan is planning to sign Udinese defender Omar Solit for around 25 million euros, and the deal could be financed by selling one of the under-23 players.

As for the status of Roma defender Ivan Ndika, it is still uncertain despite his praise from Inter Milan coach Kivu, as he could be a good alternative to Bastoni or even play in the heart of the defense if Akanji moves to right-back.
