For almost 20 years, Mario Habib has run a barbershop in Beirut’s Furn el Chebbak neighborhood – through war, economic collapse and political turmoil in Lebanon. Mario says that many customers now do not come for a haircut, but to relax, talk and live a good life in a country where, as he says, ‘ordinary life has become a dream’.
