The French star reaches new heights in the World Cup
Kylian Mbappe, the star of the French national team, has become the player who scored the most goals in the knockout games of the World Cup in history.

Mbappe then scored his second goal in the 74th minute of the match, taking advantage of Michael Olisse’s pass.

According to Opta Stats, the 27-year-old has scored his tenth goal in nine appearances in the knockout stages of the World Cup, more than any other player.
The French star broke the partnership with the Brazilian Leonidas and Ronaldo, each of whom scored 8 goals.
While Mbappe scored his tenth goal in the qualifiers, Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo is still looking for his first goal in this type of matches as he has never scored despite playing 8 matches.
