Morocco is aiming for its first victory at the 2026 World Cup
A large number of Moroccan fans gathered in the streets of the American city of Boston, hours before the Atlas Lions’ expected clash with Scotland this Friday evening, East Coast time of the United States, as part of the 2026 World Cup competition.
Moroccan fans chanted their famous chants and waved national flags in large gatherings around fan zones and city streets, while circulating videos documented the festive and enthusiastic atmosphere leading up to the highly anticipated game.

The encounter is of great importance for the Moroccan national team, who come into the game after opening with a 1-1 draw against Brazil, a historic result that gave them their first point against the South American team at the World Cup.

Scotland, on the other hand, won the first round against Haiti (1-0) and came close to qualifying for the next round as they needed just one point against Morocco to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in their history.
