In the video… Ibrahim Hasan. Egypt was heavily involved… and we apologize to the fans

The head coach of the Egyptian national team, Ibrahim Hassan, apologized to the Egyptian fans after being eliminated from the World Cup finals by the Argentine national team.

The Egyptian national team received an official and popular welcome upon its arrival in the homeland on Friday morning.

Ibrahim Hasan said in a conversation with On Sport TV channel. “Thank you to the fans for the great support we received during the matches of the tournament. We have always felt their confidence in our abilities.”

He added: “Egypt’s national team deserves more than what they got, but unfortunately we succumbed to circumstances beyond our control, although we were not negligent.”

He continued. “We were two goals ahead of Argentina without reply and could have gone on had it not been for the serious refereeing errors that were witnessed by all that revealed the truth to the world when we took effective action.”

Ibrahim Hasan noted. “When we left, we found a lot of people apologizing to us for what happened and affirming their support for us. Never has a team received so much global sympathy and exited the tournament in such an honorable manner.”

He noted: “I would also like to thank the Egyptians living abroad, both adults and children, because football and sports in general play an important role in consolidating belonging to Egypt among the children of Egyptians abroad.”

“Our message to the Egyptian players at the World Cup has always been to not stop at this station and continue to work confidently on what they have to offer. The technical staff also put in a huge effort and Hossam Hasan was working on all the details and constantly studying the competitors and everyone worked hard to the max.”
