Will there be a miracle?
The former Saudi Arabia player has praised the Moroccan national team, believing that they are capable of qualifying for the final match of the current World Cup in America, Canada and Mexico in 2026.
The Moroccan team performed exceptionally well in the first two rounds of the World Cupwhere they drew 1-1 with Brazil before beating Scotland 1-0 to finish second in Group 3 on goal difference behind the Samba Dancers.
Former player of “Al-Hilal” Ahmed Al-Harbi said during MBC 1’s “Nadine” program.
The Atlas Lions will face Haiti at dawn on Thursday in the third and final round of the World Cup group stage, at the same time as Brazil face Scotland.
Al-Harbi added: “Everyone expects Morocco to put on a tournament like the Qatar World Cup (2022) or better, so we shouldn’t draw with Haiti because that will cause morale to drop.”

“I think coach (Mohamed) Webb is thinking about two aspects: getting the players comfortable and giving the young players a chance to participate from the beginning.
He concluded. “I see that Morocco is capable, why don’t they reach the finals and win the World Cup? It’s true, it seems difficult, but it’s the same thing that gave us hope.”
The Moroccan national team achieved the biggest Arab and African achievement when they reached the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, before losing to France and then Croatia to finish fourth.
