“Al-Alami” players demanded a foul against the Portuguese
An arbitration expert has determined how much Al-Nasr was entitled to a penalty for touching the hand of Al-Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves in the penalty area during the Riyadh derby match.
Al-Nasr hosted their counterpart Al-Hilal at the Al-Awal Park Stadium today, Tuesday, in the 30th round of the Rushen League.
In the 16th minute, Al-Nasr winger Sadio Mane broke into Al-Hilal’s penalty area before passing it to his Portuguese team-mate Joao Felix, who shot towards goal but Neves was able to deflect it for a corner.

Felix and the Al-Nasri players had called for a penalty, arguing that the Portuguese midfielder hit the ball near the goal after it hit his hand, which was rejected by the match referee.
Referee expert Muhammad Kamal Risha defended the referee’s decision in a statement to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah, arguing that Ruben Neves’ hand was in a normal position.
Risha said: “In the 16th minute of the Riyadh derby, Al Hilal’s (Ruben) Neves’ hand was in a normal position, inside his body, when he touched the ball. It is the right decision to continue the game and there is no penalty for Al-Nasr.”
