The Portuguese star was in shock after the Riyadh derby
Al-Nasr legend Fahd Al-Harifi has confirmed that Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo has come to love the Saudi club, refusing to blame him for his reaction after the end of the Riyadh derby against arch-rivals Al-Hilal.
Al-Nasr could not hold on to their lead as they conceded a goal in the eighth and final minute of stoppage time to draw with Al-Hilal 1-1 at the Al-Awal Park Stadium in the Rushen League round 32 yesterday, Tuesday.
After the match, Ronaldo sat sadly, fighting back tears on the bench, before leaving the pitch straight away without addressing the Al-Nasr fans after his dream of officially winning the title against arch-rivals was put on hold.

Al-Harifi said in his statements to the “Dorina Gear” program. “What happened to Ronaldo made him become a fan of Al-Nasr Club, which caused this reaction.”
“What Ronaldo went through in terms of certain circumstances and things, his struggle for titles and his desire to win the first title, made him part of the history of this team.”
He concluded. “I don’t blame Ronaldo for his reaction after the game. Foreigners perceive these things as bad luck, and he took it from this perspective.”
