The team witnessed the participation of some alternative elements such as Saudi defender Ryan Hamed, Belgian full-back Mathieu Damms, Brazilian Matheus Gonsalves and Saudis Saleh Abu Al-Shamat and Firas Al-Braykan.

The formation of Al-Ahli was as follows.

Goalkeeper: Edouard Mendy

Defensive line: Ali Majrashi – Ryan Hamed – Merih Demiral – Matthew Dames

Midfield: Saleh Abu Al-Shamat – Valentin Atangana – Enzo Milot – Mathew Gonsalves

Forward: Firas Al-Brykan – Evan Toney
