The guillotine of the Saudi Arabian League continued to hit the big stars, as Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad stars were close to following the fate of Ivorian Franck Kesse in the upcoming summer transfer window for the Al-Ahly midfielder.
Media reports have confirmed that Al-Ahly have refused to renew Kese’s contract Which expires at the end of this month, despite the recruitment committee’s approval he had earlier submitted for renewal.
Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper It revealed a position opposite to the duo. The contracts of Croatian Marcelo Brozovic and Brazilian Fabinho, the midfielders of “Al-Nasr” and “Al-Ittihad”, respectively, will expire at the end of this month.
The newspaper clarified that Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad did not initially approach the recruitment committee to extend the contracts of Brozovic and Fabinho, revealing their intention to drop them next season.
Al-Nasr have placed the foreign player on their interest list to compensate for the departure of Brozovic next season, but if that deal falls through, they could return to renewing the Croatian midfielder.
Al-Ittihad management, on the other hand, decided not to renew Fabinho’s contract next season, but he and Al-Nasr have the option to submit a request to extend the contract of the two stars if there are any developments in the summer Mercato.
