The Uruguayan striker presented many negative levels
The players of the Saudi Arabian national team exposed Al-Hilal forward Darwin Nunez in a disastrous manner in front of the coach of the Uruguayan national team, Argentinean Marcelo Bielsa.
The Saudi Arabian team met their Uruguayan counterpart at dawn on TuesdayIn the “Hard Rock” stadium of Miami, in the first round of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Núñez started for the Uruguayan national team, although he did not feature in the second half of last season with Al Hilal after being left out of the squad in the Saudi Roshen League.
However, Bielsa’s bet on Núñez did not work out, as the former “Liverpool” forward showed very negative levels during the first half.
According to Opta statistical network, Nunes touched the ball the least in the first half of the match, as he only touched it 8 times.
Bielsa didn’t wait long as he decided the Al Hilal striker would be his first victim of the match and sent him off early in the second half.
Notably, Nunez is close to leaving Al Hilal in the upcoming summer transfer window, given his negative performances with the team last season, following his move from Liverpool in the summer of 2025.
