After the scandal against Sweden
A Tunisian journalist has reported that the country’s federation has decided to sack coach Sabri Lamouchi following a crushing 1-5 loss to Sweden in the first round of the 2026 World Cup, a decision that came just five months after his appointment last January.
According to Jawhara FM radio and other Tunisian media outlets, “the Tunisian football federation has met and decided Lamouchi’s fate by sacking him”, noting that “his successor is already known and he is coach Munzer Al-Kabeer”, while Mosaic FM radio reported that “Wahbi Khazri can occupy the light atmosphere of ten coaches”.
