Messi and Baggio’s relationship dates back to 2010 when they met in Barcelona thanks to coach Pep Guardiola, who previously played alongside Baggio at Italian side Brescia.
The Rosario forward presented the former Italy star with the shirt inside the dressing room after the quarter-final match, a clash Baggio watched from the stands at Kansas City Stadium.
