At the time of his appearance on the network.Fox SportsIbrahimovic said: “In the end, the stronger team won. The first half wasn’t perfect, but they came back and scored the three goals they needed.”

Ibrahimovic noted that the Moroccan side showed strong personality throughout the match as they were not affected by their lack of top form in the first half and were able to impose their control over time, using their technical and physical advantage to settle the match cleanly.
The Moroccan team continues its strong performances at the 2026 World Cup, becoming the first Arab team to reach the quarter-finals of the current tournament. The match also witnessed another historic achievement after Azedin Ounahi scored the 100th Arab goal in World Cup history before taking his tally to 101 before Sofia Rahimi added the 102nd goal for the Arabs.
