Ibrahim Diaz scores his first and last goal…and dedicates it to two Real Madrid stars

Atlas Lion had the best finish of the season

Moroccan star Ibrahim Diaz scored his first and final La Liga goal of the season as Real Madrid beat visitors Athletic Bilbao 4-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the final round of the competition on Saturday night.

Ironically, Diaz’s first goal in the Spanish league match was Real’s last, as the Moroccan international scored the fourth goal in the 88th minute with a shot from inside the penalty area after teammate Thiago Pitarch’s decisive pass set him up in the Basque side’s goal.

The goal came at an ideal time for the Moroccan star before he joins the Atlas Lions camp in preparation for the 2026 World Cup, in the tournament’s Group Three, which also includes Brazil, Scotland and Haiti.
