HP’s OLED 2-in-1 laptop is a solid back-to-school project

Best Buy they are selling HP OmniBook X Flip 2 in 1 for $999.99 (usually $1,649.99) with an Intel Core 7 Ultra CPU, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 1TB SSD. The star of the display is the 1920 x 1200 OLED touchscreen, a rare feature at this price point. It will display higher black levels and have a faster response time than monitors in other models of similar prices. It also has a 360-degree hinge that allows the screen to flip up so you can use it as a tablet instead, or fold it up for portable fun.

This version, like the other OmniBooks on this year’s list, is Copilot Plus systemmeaning that it has a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) to help you with special tasks such as helping you quickly find files or recorded videos. Whether you use Copilot or not, there’s a lot to like about this model. For connectivity, HP includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, two USB-A ports, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0. Another thing is that the OLED screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio, so you can see more at once.
