How online misinformation forced a woman to hide

Former police officer Kristy Hill has told BBC Confirm she was forced into hiding and feared for her safety after she and another officer were mistakenly identified on social media as having taken part in the arrest of Henry Nowak.

Bodycam footage released this week shows 18-year-old Henry being handcuffed by officers as he says he can’t breathe. Another officer, PC Tristan Parsons, was out of the country – and Christy Hill left the force more than a year before the incident. Kaylin Devlin reports.
