How much money will Arsenal get if they win the Champions League? An obvious financial advantage over Paris

Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain head into the Champions League final today, Saturday, with a huge financial difference in the value of the prizes each team has won so far due to different performances in the league stage.

According to UEFA, Arsenal have secured €105 million so far, and an additional €6.5 million will be added if they win the title, bringing the total to €111.5 million.

Arsenal prize money distribution

The Gunners received €18.6 million for qualifying for the league stage, and €16.8 million for winning eight consecutive games in that stage, with a 100 percent success rate.

The team added two million euros for finishing the league stage in the top eight, and an additional €9.9 million for topping the league table.

Arsenal also received €11 million for reaching the round of 16, €12.5 million for reaching the quarter-finals, €15 million for reaching the semi-finals and €18.5 million for reaching the final.

If the title is crowned, the team will receive 25 million euros instead of 18.5 million euros allocated to the runner-up.

Paris gets a smaller amount

In return, PSG will receive much less money; Due to their 11th place finish in the league stage, despite their success in qualifying for the finals and defending their title.

The distribution mechanism of the financial prizes in the Champions League depends on several criteria, in particular the number of wins in the league stage, the final ranking in that stage, as well as the progress in the knockout stages and television broadcasting revenues.

Notably, Arsenal are looking to win their first ever European title after winning the Premier League title for the first time since 2004 just days ago.
