How did this book about food win the Booker prize this year?

A Taiwan travelogue, the story of forbidden love and Taiwanese cuisine, has won the International Booker Prize.

The Grand Prize is the first novel translated from Mandarin Chinese. BBC Chinese caught up with author Yang Shung-zi for a food tour and to find out more about her inspiration behind the book.
