Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that Mohamed Salah will participate in the 32nd final of the World Cup against Australia in one way or another.
Mohamed Salah was injured during the match against Iran at the end of the group stage.
Tests showed Salah had strained a hamstring, and the Egyptian Football Association announced at the time that the 34-year-old had begun a treatment program immediately following the injury.
Hossam Hasan explained that Salah underwent physiotherapy sessions throughout the week, in addition to being assessed by the medical system, before he returned to take part in group training last Wednesday.

He added: “I am not sure that he will start the match, but I plan to include him in the match.”
Asked if Salah was underrated, he commented: “I am very fortunate to work with him and very pleased with what we have achieved together so far.”
“I’ve been able to get Salah to work really well, both tactically and technically, and he’s probably exceeded what people have expected of him so far. We saw a more attacking style from him and he is one of the most important players in the world.”
