Realistic or a trick?
Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has confirmed that he has a great ability to score goals, praising the strength of the French national team at the World Cup.
The Norwegian star has scored four goals in his first two games at the 2026 World Cup, where He scored twice against Iraq after touching the ball just 25 times, and the same scenario was repeated against Senegal. When he appeared to be out of action for a few minutes, he seemed to be looking at the match from a different angle as he was rarely involved in the first half with just 11 touches and needed little after the break to punish the opposition again.
The numbers accurately reflect Holland’s quality as he scores a goal every 12 touches at the World Cup.
Haaland commented on this. In the highlighted statements of the Spanish “Marca” newspaper.“I don’t know. I think my specialty is scoring goals. Like most things, I’m just very good at scoring goals, and I also have some luck. I don’t know exactly what to do, but that’s how it is.”
Holland spoke about their next clash against France under Mbappe, saying: “Honestly, I don’t really care right now. We’ve already qualified, which is great, so I don’t really care about this game. They’ll probably beat us and probably win the whole tournament.”
Holland has warned against getting emotional after his country’s national team’s strong startAt his first World Cup since 1998, he said bluntly: “Having qualified for the first time in 28 years and going through the group stage, I’d say yes. As for winning the World Cup, not at all.”
“We have now won 12 competitions in a row. I’m part of something special, we’re making history and I’m very proud to be Norwegian.”
