Holland defends Bellingham. Criticism is not worthy of the best in the world

Confirm Erling Haaland, Norwegian strikerHe was not surprised by Jude Bellingham’s brilliance and captaincy of England to a 2-1 extra-time win over Norway in the World Cup quarter-finals, stressing that the England midfielder is considered one of the best players in the world and does not deserve the criticism he is being subjected to.

Holland praised his former Borussia Dortmund team-mate after Bellingham scored twice in the game to take his tally to six at the World Cup in North America, following controversy over his place in England’s starting XI ahead of the tournament.

Haaland said: In the highlighted announcements of the “ESPN” network“I’m not surprised that he scored two goals today and performed at this level.”

“The only thing that surprises me is that sometimes I think he gets criticized more than he should because he doesn’t score enough goals or whatever.”

He continued. “I don’t think he deserves it at all because he is one of the best players in the world. He is a midfielder, but he scores goals and can dribble over any player on the pitch.”

“I have nothing but praise for Jude. I think he’s a great player. England are lucky and so is Real Madrid, because everyone hopes to have a player like him in their team.”

Holland scored 7 goals in 6 matches against England, but yesterday, Saturday, he could not leave his mark in front of the England national team’s defense.

Norway, on the other hand, were denied a goal that could have taken them 2-1 into the second half after Holland was fouled by the referee for pushing Elliott Anderson before taking a corner.

“The best teams, and England are certainly the best in terms of quality of players, usually make decisions like that. When I play with Manchester City, those decisions often go in my favor.
