Exciting statements of the Saudi star’s father
Abdul Rahman Al-Hamdan, the father of Saudi Al-Nasr striker Abdullah Al-Hamdan, said his son received several professional offers from European clubs before moving to Al-Alami, stressing that the footballer chose to start his new experience in the Saudi league despite foreign interest.
Al-Nasri managed to sign Al-Hamdan on a free transfer in the closing hours of last winter’s transfer window, bolstering their ranks with one of the most popular Saudi strikers.
The player’s father explained in statements to Al-Riyadiya newspaper that Al-Hamdan had more than one option before deciding on his future, noting that some offers had come from prominent European clubs.
“Abdullah has signed a four-year contract with Al-Nasr, but before that he has received offers from well-known European clubs, including a Spanish club and another club that previously participated in the Champions League, but I prefer not to reveal their identity at this time.”

He added that his son has shown his ability in the various stations he has played in his career, be it with Al-Shabaab or Al-Hilal, noting that the player has always been able to make his mark when given the right opportunity.
He stressed that Al-Hamdan’s time with Al-Hilal saw him contribute to a number of championships despite strong competition within the team, explaining that the player maintained his presence and managed to provide complements when he was involved.
He also praised his start at Al-Nasr, stating that winning the league title in his first season with Al-Alami reflected the value of a player and his ability to adapt and succeed in different circumstances.
Al-Hamda participated in 20 matches with Al-Nasr shirt in different tournaments, during which he scored 5 goals and 3 assists.
