He didn’t stop at Saibari..Bayern ignites the Mercato with the world’s new player

Bayern Munich have fired up the summer transfer market with a double blow after agreeing a €55m deal with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign German full-back Nathaniel Brown.

The signing of Brown comes just days after the Bavarian giants completed the signing of Moroccan Ismael Sibari from PSV Eindhoven for the same fee of €55m, in a deal that took place last week and was exclusively revealed.

Mercato expert and trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano explained that Bayern’s deal with Brown was not in doubt as the club settled personal terms with the player weeks ago before finalizing talks with Eintracht about a €55m transfer fee.

According to Romano, via his website X account, the German full-back’s contract with Bayern Munich will be extended until June 2031, a move that confirms the club’s desire to build a long-term project on the left.

Nathaniel Brown managed to score the fifth goal of the German team in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup against Curaçao.

The move saw Bayern spend €110 million in a week to bolster their ranks with the deals for Sibari and Brown, sending a clear message to their rivals locally and in Europe that the rebuilding phase has begun in earnest.

PSV Eindhoven’s Saibari was signed last week for €55 million, with Brown forming a duo of signings that Bayern have banked on to strengthen their attacking and defensive fronts ahead of the start of the new season.
