Leeds have completed a deal to sign Harry Wilson on a free transfer following his departure from Fulham.

Sky Sports News reported last month That Wilson rejected interest from Aston Villa and Everton and agreed to join Leeds.

Fulham tried to convince Wilson to stay and offered him a new contract after a career-best season in the Premier League in which he scored 10 goals and set up another seven, attracting interest from Champions League clubs.

His signing represents a real coup for Leeds and comes almost a year after Wilson’s deadline day collapse at Elland Road.

Wilson said Sky Sports News: “I’m really relieved.

“It was close last year and we crossed the line this year, so I’m glad to be here.

“I think they had a really strong season last year, so I’m looking forward to coming here, playing in front of the fans here and having another good year.

“As everyone knows the environment here is incredible.

“I’ve played here many times as an away player and every time it’s been a tough game, a scary atmosphere and I’m looking forward to being on the other side of it.”

Wilson, who has 69 Wales caps, is now joined by international teammates Dan James, Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon at Elland Road.
