Hantavirus Conspiracy Theories Are Spreading On The Internet

“Within hours of the first hantavirus headlines, social media accounts were already promoting ivermectin, claiming the pandemic was a Covid vaccine, and a warning about a non-existent hantavirus vaccine. The claims were often controversial, but that controversy no longer seemed to slow their spread.”

His story, which has been viewed 4 million times, was shared by former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who. he added that vitamin D and zinc can help fight the disease. Greene also said that not getting the Covid-19 vaccine allowed him to “develop an immune system” against the hantavirus.

Greene otherwise he saidwithout evidence, that the pharmaceutical company Moderna deliberately tampered with the virus to allow them to make money by developing a hantavirus vaccine. Greene did not respond to a request for comment.
