Hackers Hate AI Slop More Than You Do

Articles reviewed by WIRED on Hack Forums, a self-published site dedicated to discussing hacking and sharing strategies, show the anger caused by people creating articles with AI. “I see a lot of members using AI to create their own threads/posts and it pisses me off because they don’t take the time to write a simple sentence or two,” one author wrote. Another bluntly said: “Stop posting AI shit.”

In several cases, Collier says, several forum users seem to be annoyed by AI posts when they are trying to make friends. “If I want to talk to an AI chatbot, there are a lot of websites to do it… I’m here to talk to people,” one person cited in the survey says.
