Google is rolling out its redesigned Workspace icons

You’re not alone – Google Workspace apps are getting a new look. Redesigned software images, it leaked last monthnow it’s spreading wide, just like we started this morning. Users with the redesigned icons will notice that they now have a visual effect that fades from light to dark shades, instead of the same tone, similar to the redesigned Google logo. which was established a year ago.

Some icons have changed from a rainbow design to a single color, such as Google Chat, Meet, and Calendar, which can make all the icons look better from each other – or make them harder to recognize. Some haven’t changed much, like 9 to 5 Google documents, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, which have the same colors as standard methods. Like one Reddit user he pointed out, though, that the images of Papers and Slides were converted to form, which is how most people use both of these programs.

The Google Drive logo has also been significantly redesigned with rounded corners (and it has lost the red area it had in the bottom right). A few have also lost their surrounding borders, such as Google Keep, which is now just a yellow bulb, instead of a bulb in the yellow corners. As someone who uses Keep regularly, it will take me a while to get used to seeing the screen layout, although I like all the new features. I also appreciate the cleaner look of the Gmail icon, although it hasn’t changed much compared to the old version.
