Google I/O 2026: All the news and announcements

Google I/O 2026 starts today, with events a great sermon is scheduled for 10AM PT / 1PM ET on May 19th.

Gemini is expected to be front and center at this year’s developer conference, where Google is set to introduce new AI models and other AI features. Google has already demonstrated many AI products coming to Android 17including AI-generated widgets, during the Android demo. This issue should bring similar changes to Search and other Google products.
